Separation of Church and State?
This is what the U.S. Constitution (Bill of Rights) says:
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
There is nothing in the constitution about the separation of church and state. What the constitution does say is that no law may prohibit the free exercise of religion. This is a provision of the constitution that is often being ignored when it comes to the free exercise of Christianity.
