The Motto of the American Revolution

We don't use mottos much anymore. At one time it was common to create a motto that, in a few words, summed up the spirit of an organization, group or event. A motto gives a focus, defining what a group is about.

Our founding fathers had a motto they used to express the spirit of the Revolutionary War.

That motto was: No King But King Jesus.
